This past week end has been insaine!
SWS hosted our annual assessments where TONS of students came out to join!
We are thrilled to have so many happy clients at SWS.
ASSESSMENTS
Assessments at SWS are not like at other studios. It is not a stressful or scary adventure at all for a student. Each and every student has an important place in SWS. We have so many levels there is a home for everyone its all about finding the right level for your dancer.
UPDATE
Friday evening we held our annual parent meeting. Lots of GREAT additions and changes to the program this season. First we changed up our three free routines in our fulltime competitive package. Our students will be doing a ballet extended line, Open extended line as well as a small group hip hop. Tap is being left for small group work this season. Our recital this season will have a tap extended line for ALL, as well as a finale piece. GREAT news we can piece the costume together and SAVE! We are having 2 different days for competitive shows Fri night 6:30 then another show Sat at 6:30. This way students who are in many physically challenging routines have enough rest. Recreational shows are going to be Saturday 12 and 3pm this way our young ones don't have to miss out because the show is too late! Joe Perez is teaching Acro comp and Sadie Brooker is teaching Recreational acro. Back by popular demand is Dane Gulston for our Break dance team. NEW competitive crew competes this season! Stay tuned for Results!

ASSISTANTS SEMINAR
Instructing is a whole new ballgame! Here at SWS we start training our students to teach as soon as they are interested. It is a long process to learn and assisting allows students the hands on experience they need to improve this completely different set of skills.
