Dance Odyssey #1 (Hamilton) - April 29th-May 2nd, 2010
SWS had its most successful weekend to date! Up against studios whom have been around over 15years, SWS in only its fourth season came out on top! Congratulations go out to all students whom worked so hard all season and the faculty that helped them achieve their goals!
Over the weekend SWS was adjudicated by Tracy Davenport, Kathy King, Daniella Rousal and Rebecca Brettingham. SWS showed strong in every dance discipline. Earning the highest marks in every dance discipline, adjudicator’s choice awards, scholarships, overall awards, choreography awards not to mention THE HIGHEST MARK OF THE ENTIRE COMPETITION OUT OF OVER 700 ENTRIES with “Time To Say Goodbye”! As well as both the junior and senior division winners for Dance Odyssey’s Favorite Dancer!
DANCE ODYSSEY’S FAVOURITE DANCER
SWS was so very proud to have many of their students enter the audition/competition for Dance Odyssey’s Favorite Dancer! This audition experience is a wonderful way for all students to gain experience. In both Junior and Senior categories SWS had their dancers make it to the final 2 and 3 of the audition round.
